I have finally, belatedly, got started on Learning 2.0. I know I will learn lots over the next 12 weeks.
It took me a long time to enjoy using computers when I first encountered them in approximately 1990, but as my confidence and knowledge increased, I, along with everyone else, wondered how we ever coped without them. I am expecting to further increase my knowledge and confidence about blogs, RSS feeds etc during the 2.0 learning process. At the moment I would say I know nothing!
Perhaps by the end of the course, I will even consider buying a computer for home. I have resisted this, as I cannot imagine how I would find time at home to make use of a computer. I did own one a decade ago, a lovely little Mac Classic, but I put it out on the footpath as soon as my degree, and its related essay writing, was finished. A passerby took it within a very short time, in the time honoured tradition of the inner west.
At this point I don't see how I will be using the Learning 2.0 knowledge in my work here at the library. I will wait and see.

It will be interesting to discover applications for these tools - I hope you enjoy the journey.
