I have been stuck on Week 3, Flickr, as it all seemed too complex to set up another account (on Yahoo) after lots of trouble setting up gmail, trying to find user names and passwords that hadn't been already taken.

On the advice of one of my "local learning advocates" I have temporarily skipped Week 3 and gone on to Week 4, Wikis.

The short video at the beginning was most enlightening: I finally understand the difference between a website and a wiki. Never will I forget to "edit", "save" and "link". So simple and so clever.

I had a look at some of the library related wikis. Very interesting indeed. To my surprise I found myself printing out a book list posted by Kim B from a wiki set up by a county library somewhere in America. The list will go with me next time I am visiting my local public library, as any list which puts "Things Fall Apart" by Chinua Achebe as No. 1 is a list I want to read more from. I tried adding a comment on Kim B's page, but didn't see it appear afterwards. Not sure then if I actually added my comment or not. I will give this another go when I have time.

I am feeling rather behind with Learning 2.0, but will continue to plug along, finding time to catch up when I can. Back to the mountains of work on my desk now.

You can always come back to wrestle with flickr later! Glad you have found some useful things in the wiki week.
